Exploring is a unique career study program created by Boy Scouts of America for young menand women ages 14–20. It provides an opportunity to learn about a wide variety of careers andto network with professionals already in those fields. Acadian Ambulance has been a supporter of Scouting for many years. Many of our employeesvolunteer with various Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops and packs, and we sponsor Explorerposts throughout Louisiana, Texas, and Tennessee. Our posts are specifically designed for teens and young adults who are interested in the medicalfield. The program provides real-world experiences, helping participants develop critical skillsnecessary for a successful career in emergency medicine. In addition, our Explorers can earntheir Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification.
